While the design of the website, in other words the pretty stuff, is important, what’s even more important is the way the site is constructed, with key pieces of information strategically positioned which leads the visitor on a journey, the minute they step inside your “shop”.
You visit a supermarket, and from the minute you enter, you read the signs which take you straight to the aisle you want. Then onto another aisle and if you can’t find what you want, there is usually someone there to help you.
Someone lands on your website. For starters, it’s taken a fair amount of effort on your part to get them there, either in time or money, and often both.
The last thing you want to do is leave them wondering where to go.

And the absolute last thing you want them to do is leave without taking some kind of action
And yet, this is what happens on so many sites. Is it happening on yours?
